Since their inclusion in the National Electrical Code (NEC), arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs) have brought greater protection to homes, many of which are increasingly overwhelmed by the growing electrical demands of our high-tech and appliance-rich lifestyles. New advances in AFCI technology, including the development of new code-approved AFCI and dual-function AFCI/GFCI receptacles, are providing contractors and homeowners easier-to-use and more cost-effective options.

On Dec. 13, 2016, Legrand and ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR hosted a free webinar, "Protection at The Point Of Use: AFCI receptacles provide easier-to-install, code-approved options for contractors," which discussed the benefits of installing AFCI receptacles and new advances in AFCI technology. Furthermore, it reviewed the most recent NEC requirements for AFCI receptacles.

Now you can watch the webinar for free.
