Southwire’s Armorlite Type AC cable is constructed with soft-drawn copper, Type THHN insulated conductors, which are individually wrapped with a moisture-resistant, flame-retardant paper covering. Aluminum interlocking armor is applied over the assembly. A 16-AWG aluminum bond wire is placed inside the armor and runs longitudinally.

Cerrowire’s 600V service entrance cable may be used in wet or dry locations up to 194°F. It has an uninsulated conductor between two insulated conductors, parallel-laid then wrapped in a glass-reinforced tape. There is a gray, sunlight-resistant PVC jacket over the complete assembly, helping protect the cable.

Corning’s MiniXtend plenum microcable is designed for jetting installation method in microducts. Atkore’s MC Glide Tuff interlocked lightweight galvanized steel armor Type MC cable has a lightweight, high-strength blue galvanized-steel interlocked armor. It consists of THHN/THWN-rated conductors twisted and wrapped with polypropylene assembly tape, and it comes with an insulated green EGC.

PureNet’s 550 MHz FTP cable consists of four balanced 23 AWG copper pairs around a flame-retardant cross-web. The core is wrapped with a polyester-film-backed aluminum foil with a drain wire applied longitudinally.
