Day-Brite Capri Omega (DCO) Lighting Institute will offer a seminar on office spaces at its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified facility (LEED-CI), which is designed to educate visitors about the importance of good lighting and highlight the importance of energy conservation.
The upcoming seminar will focus on lighting issues and their solutions for development and creation of the most sustainable and efficient workplace lighting environments. Issues include cause and solution of glare problems, factors and considerations affecting task visibility, psychological effects of lighting in offices, creating the most energy efficient and economical lighting system, and the importance of composition and color in the luminous environment. The Office Space Seminar is scheduled for March 26 and 27.
The Lighting Institute will accommodate 40 visitors for the seminar. Participants will receive 8.0 AIA/CES education credits for each seminar. The cost of the seminar is $350.
