Timm has been in the fire and life safety systems industry for over 30 years, starting in the field as a technician after graduating with a degree in Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute. Weber is a member of National Fire Protection Association, and a National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Fire Protection Engineering Technology / Fire Alarm Systems. His experience in the life safety systems industry has seen technology evolve from simple audible-only horn solutions to modern, complex solutions involving integrated fire alarm voice systems, direct recipient mass notification systems and IP/VOIP connectivity. His focus is to educate building owners and facility managers on the latest life safety technologies and code requirements to help ensure effective response and management of different emergency events (i.e., fire, active shooter, extreme weather, chemical spills, etc.).
