The NECA Project Excellence Awards showcase the remarkable work NECA members have performed throughout the year. Every year, members are welcome to submit projects they accomplished in the last year and receive recognition for their work and ingenuity.

This year, there were 17 winners. The competition considers 13 categories based on the type of project and its dollar value. These awards represent the best of the electrical contracting industry, highlighting the dedication, innovation and exceptional craftsmanship of NECA contractors who completed complex and impactful projects last year.

The projects were judged on the following criteria: originality in construction techniques and scope of work, quality of workmanship, difficulty of installation, application of technology to aid construction and use of preconstruction or prefabrication.

The awarded projects were completed in 2024 and were recognized at NECA 2025 Chicago during the General Session on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025. Visit the 2025 winners gallery for project details and more photos.
