STI’s Elastomeric Firestop Sealant

STI’s SpecSeal ES elastomeric firestop sealant is a latex-based, gun-grade sealant designed for construction joint applications. In dynamic joint conditions, it is tested to accommodate up to 25% compression/extension of the installed joint width. It is nonhalogenated and water-based for easy installation and cleanup, and it contains no solvents, asbestos, PCBs or inorganic fibers.

It is applied with a standard caulk gun and forms a flexible seal. It is tested for up to 4 hours of fire resistance and works in temperatures up to 185°F.
