Tenmat’s Rainscreen Fireblock

Tenmat’s FF102/50 rainscreen fireblock is a rigid, high-expansion intumescent strip encased in aluminum foil designed to fireblock up to 2-in. cavities in ventilated rainscreen systems. The open space between the FF102/50 and cladding enables airflow and moisture dissipation, but in case of a fire, the intumescent material can expand to up to 25 times its thickness. It has undergone fire testing, including NFPA285, and is NYC OTCR/DOB approved.
