Sumitomo Electric Lightwave’s buffer tube slitter is a midspan access tool that separates buffer tubes. It was developed specifically to mid-span loose tube fibers and works on gel-filled or all dry buffer tubes. It accesses fibers in 2-, 2½- and 3-mm buffer tubes. All blades are precisely factory-mounted with no adjustment required.
