Knipex Tools’ 09 08 240 lineman’s pliers are made from German vanadium electric steel. They have a serrated, cross-hatched knurled gripping zone in the jaws, another gripping zone below the joint, and insulated, VDE-tested handles.

Milwaukee Tool’s 6-in-1 combination wire pliers are designed for metallic and nonmetallic wire and can be used for long nose plier applications, reaming pipe, cutting and stripping wire, making loops, and cutting bolts. They have an all-metal swing lock and an ergonomic handle. They strip solid wire from 8–18 AWG and stranded wire from 10–20 AWG, cut bolts for No. 6–32 and No. 8–32, and ream pipe up to 11/2 in. 


Platinum Tools’ 6-in. and 81/2-in. lineman’s pliers feature a 6140 CrV drop-forged carbon-alloy steel body with a hardness level of 45 ±3 and a blade hardness of 58–61 to ensure a clean cut.
