Raco’s 939 Retro-Brace 1½-in. deep box is adjustable for joist spacing from 16 in. to 24 in. It is supplied with two ½-in. knockouts. It is created to perform with engineered wood joists, but works with any wood joists. It works with 35-lb. to 70-lb. ceiling fans.
