The dielectric hardware eliminates the potential of static electricity being transferred through steel hardware if working around an energized conductor in wet or damp conditions.

Buckingham Manufacturing’s Buck Tech tower harness features a seat attachment that provides more comfort and less pressure in the hips when suspending. The chest strap adjustment buckles allow the user to position the sternal D-ring to prevent sliding during a fall. 

3M’s DBI-SALA ExoFit X100 safety harness is equipped with an antisliding dorsal D-ring pad to help greatly reduce slide. A suspension trauma relief straps with low-profile design is included. It is built with 6,000-lb. polyester webbing, nylon/polyester hybrid comfort padding and alloy steel hardware.

FallTech’s DuraTech self-retracting device offers a side cable payout, an internal braking system, a 3/16-in. galvanized wire cable and a load-indicating locking swivel carabiner to connect to the worker’s harness.
