Orbit Industries’ recessed light adapter plate is designed for installing recessed lighting fixtures in either Hard Lid (RAP) or T-bar (RAP-T) applications. It has multiple CKOs and center markings, accommodating most 4–8-in. recessed light housings. It fits up to a 26-in. stud spacing with its slotted holes, while the RAP-T drops into and fits most 2-ft. wide T-bar grids. It can be preassembled with a fixture in a controlled environment before moving to the job site.
