Ridgid’s RC-40 manual cable cutter has curved, surface-grinded blades made of high-coated steel, and it uses a ratchet mechanism to make cuts. It has impact-resistant handles, a locking mechanism and an enclosed spring. A pawl release allows blades to be released any point during cutting.


Platinum Tools’ MCM racheted cable cutter, designed for one-handed operation, cuts stranded, flexible copper and aluminum cable up to 500 MCM.
