Ideal Industries’ 15-ft. mini fish tape lies flat when extended. It is has easy-to-grip contours, a flip-out reel style retraction system, glow-in-the-dark tip and metallic belt clip. It is designed for fishing power wires, speaker wire, TV cables and network cables on short runs.

Greenlee’s FTN536-50 50-ft. nonconductive nylon fish tape has curl-resistant nylon tape. The rugged case design improves drop impact capability. The comfort handle grip reduces fatigue.

Ideal Industries’ 120-ft. Volt-Guard fish tape features a fiberglass core that provides nonconductive and nonarcing capabilities for use near live circuits. The pulling strength is 350 lbs., and it has a rectilinear profile for pushing power and less coil memory compared to nylon tapes. 

Greenlee’s 125-ft. REEL-X 1/8-in. stainless steel fish tape features an antibind case designed to reduce fatigue. The storage lock contains fish tape during transport, and there is a free-spinning interior reel for faster fishing. 

Jameson Tools’ 8-18-100 Wee Buddy nonconductive fiberglass fish tape has a rod that slides easily over existing wires—especially at bends—and has a smooth, nonbinding payout and return to canister. The canister allows the accessory kit to snap on and off.

Ideal Industries’ S-Class fiberglass fish tape is nonconductive and is designed for use around live circuits. The pulling strength is 500 lbs. Jameson’s 10-316-150 Little Buddy fish tape is designed for running inside and outside conduit drops as well as home drops from the hand-hole box to a building. It is also used for light pole and control wiring or walker ducts. It features a drag brake and safety feed eye to control payout, and it operates vertically or horizontally.

Klein Tools’ 56335 1/4-in.-wide spring steel fish tape features a protective coating to reduce noncontact moisture and humidity and keeps the steel dry to touch. The plastic tip reduces catching, and the case and handle offer impact resistance. Laser-etched markings in 1 ft. increments show the length of conduit runs and amount of tape left to pay out.

Jameson’s Wee Buddy 1/8-in. fish tape is designed for occupied conduit as small as 1/2 in. The round rod slides over existing wires, especially at bends, with a nonbinding payout and return to canister. The easy-grip design allows for more efficient pushing and pulling. It features a nonconductive fiberglass rod, a 1/2-in. bending radius and a 200-lb. pull/tensile strength. It is available with or without an accessory kit.

Southwire Tools’ flexible 15-ft., glow-in-the-dark fish sticks are made of fiberglass and resist splintering and cracking. Individual sections easily screw together to form a single rod to provide extended reach. It recharges in most available light sources. It includes a bullet nose with eyelet and hook attachments.

Greenlee’s steel fishtape features a comfort-handle grip that reduces fatigue. The smaller fisheye with offset bend for improved fishing ability and the viewing port gives visibility to remaining tape and the ability to remove job site debris quickly. The rugged case design improves drop-impact capability.

Milwaukee Tool’s Angler 120-ft. steel fish tape is cordless and battery-powered. Users can automatically reel tape into the drum for a cleaner job site. It is designed to pull No. 10 and No. 12 wires, and it has interchangeable steel and nonconductive drums.

Rack-A-Tiers’ Laserline kit includes a CO₂-powered gun that shoots a foam dart attached to 200-ft. line. It is designed for applications like pulling wire across a T-bar ceiling or through a crawl space. Users fire the Laserline, attach a wire, walk around and pull the wire from there.

Jameson’s ¹/₈-in., 100-ft. round, fiberglass fish tape has a 1¹/₂-in. bending radius and a nonbinding payout and return. It comes in a 12¹/₂-in., yellow canister with a snap-on accessory kit.

Southwire Tools’ SIMpull fish tape features a spiral extruded design and includes nine models with 3.0-mm or 4.5-mm diameters and 75-, 100-, 125- and 240-ft. lengths. Four nonconductive models have a glow-in-the-dark leader. Five models include a swiveling flexible metal leader.
