Hitachi Power Tools’ 18V lithium-ion 31/4-in. cordless band saw cuts through conduit, steel pipes, power cables, aluminum window frames and various plastics. It has a variable-speed dial (260–640 SFPM) and an auto-mode function that changes speed (395–640 SFPM) based on the material being cut. It can cut up to 31/4-in. round pipe and 31/8-by-31/8-in. square pipe.
