Teledyne Flir’s Extech DV25 voltage detector includes audible and visual indications, double-molded housing and a built-in LED flashlight. The low range measures down to 24V.

AEMC’s 275HVD noncontact high-voltage tester can be used indoors and outdoors. It offers a self-test function that works through an actual sensing circuit; it does not just turn on a light and buzzer. As the sensor is moved closer to the voltage-carrying conductor, its head picks up the radiated electric field.

Greenlee’s noncontact voltage detector features a dual tip to detect voltage in tamper‑resistant and conventional 15A and 20A 120V outlets. The patented, automatic self‑test verifies circuit integrity, and there is an audible and visual alert when voltage is present. It can be used to detect voltage in outlets, lighting fixtures and more.

Megger’s TPT320 voltage tester features LCD and LED displays that provide AC and DC voltage measurement from 12V to 690V. The LED torch allows safe work in poorly lit environments. The phase rotation indication feature is simplified, avoiding the crossing of test probes.

Megger’s VF5 AC noncontact voltage detector has a 120V to 1,000V voltage range. It is designed to be used to check for the presence of AC voltage, which is indicated by a red LED situated within the white nylon tip, an audible sounder and a vibration alert. It operates between 32°F and 122°F.

It automatically shuts off after five minutes to preserve battery life.

Megger’s noncontact VF AC voltage detector features an automatic audible warning buzzer. There is a bright-red voltage indicator in the white nylon tip, and a built-in bright-white LED flashlight. The compact pen-style instrument is used to identify live AC voltages from 100V to 600V at 50 or 60 Hz. It operates in temperatures between 14ºF and 122ºF. It is designed to detect voltage at socket outlets or against wire insulation.

Fluke’s 1AC II noncontact voltage tester features a loud beeper that will sound, and the tip will glow red when voltage is detected. The wide voltage detection range allows for use in a broad range of applications. It is rated to CAT IV 1,000V for added protection.

Klein Tools’ ET40 AC/DC voltage tester features LEDs to indicate the type and level of voltage detected. It is designed to withstand a 9.9-ft. drop. It indicates polarity when measuring DC voltages, and it powers off automatically after 2 minutes of nonuse to conserve battery life. The built-in test lead holders are on the sides of tester, and the clip secures the tester to the user’s pocket.

Greenlee’s GT13 noncontact voltage detector can identify voltages from 50–1,000V AC. It features an ergonomic grip and a LED flashlight. Every two seconds, the design checks all component circuitry to ensure the tool is ready. To conserve battery life, the tester automatically turns off after 5 minutes. It has a dual-tip design to open the shutters on tamper-resistant receptacles.
