Empire Level’s e95 series Ultraview LED magnetic torpedo level has a three-minute auto-shutoff, or users can press and hold to turn it off. It has an aluminum frame with a top-read vial. Ruler grooves are compatible with most straight edges, and the vials are made in the United States.

Hilti’s PR 3-HVSG indoor rotating laser level has head-mounted bumpers, four shock-absorbing handles and IP-66- protected housing to maintain laser accuracy in rough job-site conditions. It can be used for leveling drop ceilings, squaring walls and slinging cable trays.

Kapro’s 935 10-in. magnetic cast red torpedo level features a horizontal vial with the Optivision red feature and an angle finder vial. It also has gradient lines up to 2% marked inside the vial so they won’t scratch off or move. The vial is easily rotatable and has clear markings.

Husky’s 10-in. digital level features a digital LCD screen that inverts to correspond to its own position when the user is working overhead. It measures in degrees, percentages or inches of rise per foot of run. It makes an audible beep at 0, 45 and 90 degrees and at the user’s last memorized angle. It features integrated bubble vials for checks of level and plumb even when it is turned off.

Kapro Tools’ 985DL Digiman Pro magnetic digital level with laser pointer features an LCD readout and a spirit level with one level and one plumb vial for determining horizontal and vertical plane as well as inclines. Digital readings, shown on a backlit LCD, are accurate to 0.1° for level and plumb and 0.2° for angle of incline.

Kapro Tools’ Prolaser 842 Bambino Cross laser level has an indoor range up to 50 ft. and a rubber over-molded casing. It has a manual mode for angular layout and marking with a visual out-of-level warning and a mechanical pendulum lock mechanism. It has a flexible omni-set tripod.

Kapro Tools’ 905D Condor digital level includes a mode function for selecting degrees, 0, 1 or 2 decimals. The hold button freezes the readout on the display, and the false zero function enables users to manually set the base angle for slope measurements. It features electronic recalibration, visual and audible slope indication and a low-battery indicator. It is rated for 7,700 hours.

Empire Tools’ e105 series digital box level gives users degrees to the tenths and hundredths and five other measuring modes. It is rated for dust and water protection. It features a tilt indicator, shock-absorbing removable endcaps and a top-read digital display. For working overhead, there is an overhead inverted display. Some models feature rare earth magnets and a protective case.

DeWalt’s 20 Max rotary laser level measures up to 2,000 ft. with an accuracy of ¹/₁₆ in. at 100 ft. It has an IP-67 rating for debris and water resistance and 2-meter drop protection. It also has up and down plumb dots, a dual-axis slope mode and a scan mode, which takes measurements at 15, 45 and 90 degrees. It has a molded-in magnetic mount, nonslip pads on the back and a rubber holster, which protects the meter from debris.

Klein Tool’s 935L 24-in. bubble level has adjustable vials to match and transfer angles between multiple surfaces, a top V-groove that fits the contour of conduit and pipe, rubber grip handles, hang holes and protrusions on its rubber end caps to help prevent movement. It also has reinforced vial housing and rubberized end caps for durability.

Hilti’s PR 3-HVSG green rotating laser has an operating diameter range of 7–492 ft. using a laser receiver and up to 100 ft. using the IR remote. It delivers up to one million impulses per second to provide reliable readings in bright working environments. It has a reinforced head, shock-absorbing handles and an internal damping system.

Kapro Tools’ Optivision 905 Condor box level has a dual-view vial, a reinforced aluminum profile with a finely milled surface, Ergo Grip rubber handles and oversized shock-absorbing rubber end-caps.

Fluke’s 180LR self-leveling, horizontal- and vertical-cross line laser level projects level, plumb and lines that can be projected at any angle. It is accurate to 3 mm at 10 m. It has a magnetic wall bracket, a green laser for improved visibility and a button for toggling between presets.

Empire Level’s EM75 True Blue magnetic 10-in. torpedo level features a top-read window, a ruler groove on top where a straight edge can be inserted to extend measuring and marking, an antislip surface grip on the back, an all-aluminum frame, and tapered ends. It has three levels: plumb, 45-degree and dual-pitch.

Milwaukee Tool’s 10-in. die-cast block torpedo level has a 360-degree adjustable vial that can be locked into place, so users can identify and repeat any angle needed on the job site. Vials are made with high-impact acrylic, and one side of its red body is magnetic. A compact billet torpedo level with a metric or standard ruler is also available.

Empire’s e75 True Blue box level is constructed with an all-metal aluminum frame. It’s vial-locking system protects the center acrylic block. It has rubber surface grips and rubber, shock-absorbing endcaps. It is available in six sizes and magnetic or nonmagnetic models. 


Ideal Industries’ 6-in. Precision level is designed to eliminate “dog-legs” when making saddle or offset bends to electrical conduit. It has an integrated Thumb Winder conduit wheel with a contoured screw and its vials can be replaced by removing a single screw. 


Ox Tools' bamboo mason level is 48 in. long and has three vials—two plumb and one level—constructed from solid block acrylic vials. It also has extruded aluminum bindings, shock-absorbing rubber end-caps and two smooth, ergonomic handholds.
