Jonard Tools’ KCS-4 cutting shears are designed to cut Kevlar, cabling insulation, tape, cable ties and other materials. The fiberglass-infused polypropylene handles are ergonomically designed. There is a serrated blade for gripping and durable cutting. High-carbon steel blades are heat-treated to HRC 46-48 for durability.

Phoenix Contact’s 1212621 CUTFOX-ES electrician’s scissors have a microserrated cutting area. They can cut copper, aluminum, Kevlar fibers and plastic. They have ergonomic, two-component, nonslip, soft-grip handles with an adjustable screw joint. The cutting edge is made of stainless steel. 

Southwire’s ESP-1 electrician scissors are designed with a spring-loaded blade action. There is a double-dipped grip handle for comfort and control. The lock holds the snips closed for storage, and the serrated blade grips wire as it cuts. It has a scraper and file on the outside of both blades.

Irwin Tools’ tinner snips feature precision-ground edges on the blades to ensure a tight grip on each cut. The blades are made of hot drop-forged steel, and a spring washer holds blades tightly against each other when cutting. The handles are encased in Plastisol for comfort and reduced hand fatigue.
