MSA Safety’s V-Shock leading edge self-retracting lanyard is available in multiple lengths and snaphook configurations. Labels use clear iconography to help deliver critical SRL information easily. Clearance charts have been designed to communicate fall clearance requirements in an intuitive format.

FallTech’s 84008TP8 8-ft. tie back has arc flash and Class 2 leading edge ratings. An internal mechanism design minimizes unintentional lockups to keep users moving freely. Werner’s R433006LE 6-ft. self-retracting lifeline is a Class 2 device. It has a thermoplastic housing and an ultra-lightweight and compact backpack-style energy absorber. When attached overhead, it has a 24-in. maximum arrest distance that is designed for low-clearance applications. 

Werner’s C311100 6 ft. DeCoil lanyard features a deceleration device designed for controlled tearing action to reduce fall arrest force. A polyester webbing allows for easy inspection and provides durability. The snap hook is designed to prevent false engagement.

MSA Safety’s 10176307 Latchways personal rescue device is a lightweight, full-body harness system for self-rescue. The 65-foot-long descent line is made from Aramid rope. An arc-flash model is also available.

FallTech’s 82403 ElasTech energy-absorbing lanyard has an elastic leg construction for working lengths from 41/2 to 6 ft. to reduce tripping hazards. The high-modulus internal elastic expands and contracts with users’ movements. It includes an alloy steel snap hook for harness attachment.

Buckingham Manufacturing’s BuckOhm Buckyard stretch lanyard should be used with a full body harness. It is an elastic bungee that expands/stretches when working. A 6-ft. lanyard will expand/stretch when worked and will retract to 44 in., minimizing the length of webbing the end-user has while working.

Buckingham Manufacturing’s BuckOhm X-style TrueFit harness is equipped with dielectric hardware designed for working conditions with electrical hazards. The dielectric hardware eliminates the potential of static electricity being transferred through steel hardware if working around an energized conductor in wet or damp conditions.

Buckingham Manufacturing’s Buck Tech tower harness features a seat attachment that provides more comfort and less pressure in the hips when suspending. The chest strap adjustment buckles allow the user to position the sternal D-ring to prevent sliding during a fall. 

3M’s DBI-SALA ExoFit X100 safety harness is equipped with an antisliding dorsal D-ring pad to help greatly reduce slide. A suspension trauma relief straps with low-profile design is included. It is built with 6,000-lb. polyester webbing, nylon/polyester hybrid comfort padding and alloy steel hardware.

FallTech’s 6814150K rescue and descent work site kit’s bidirectional design provides shuttle operation for multiple successive descending users. The rope lifeline has lightweight aluminum alloy connectors. The integral triple-mode lifting capability has a handwheel, ratcheting handle and power drill adapter. The maximum descent load is 440 lbs. for two users.

Buckingham’s BuckEscape 302AFKIT-65 kit is an after-fall self-rescue system. The energy-absorbing lanyard enables a worker to perform a self-rescue from a disabled aerial bucket, or if the worker is ejected from the bucket and is suspended from their lanyard. Built-in suspension trauma steps are designed to alleviate pressure during the self-rescue process.

Petzl’s Volt fall-arrest and work positioning harness is designed with a vest that ensures the harness keeps its shape. The automatic buckles on the waistbelt and leg loops allow the harness to be donned with both feet on the ground. The waistbelt and shoulder straps are equipped with self-locking buckles for quick adjustments. The anatomical design and semi-rigid waistbelt ensures comfort.

SkySaver Rescue Ltd.'s SkySaver-WT rescue device is designed for technicians working on wind turbines and other tall structures, such as a crane, or during emergency evacuation of incapacitated technicians. It uses a redundant centrifugal- and friction-based braking system to lower a technician to the ground at 2 m per second. It is designed to function under extreme conditions and can withstand prolonged exposure to high heat, flames, cold water and sharp edges. It can be operated in saline environments and is available in 100 m and 160 m models.

Triax Technologies’ spot-r wearable work-management device and system enables site supervisors to conduct real-time head counts, perform location checks and find specific workers on the job site. Workers also can push the self-alert button to instantly report site hazards, incidents or potential injuries. In case of emergency, authorized personnel can trigger site-wide evacuation alerts. 


FallTech’s DuraTech self-retracting device offers a side cable payout, an internal braking system, a 3/16-in. galvanized wire cable and a load-indicating locking swivel carabiner to connect to the worker’s harness.
