Arlington Industries’ listed low-profile furred wall box base assembly is a way to install an outlet box on a block wall. It eliminates installation steps, and there is no need to break out concrete block. There are no new furring strips and no foaming around the box. It is designed for use with ½-in. and standard depth wall thicknesses. The single- and two-gang furred wall box base assemblies work with standard wall plates and devices.
