Ideal Industries’ FT-45 modular plug crimp tool has a single crimp cavity for RJ-45 or 8-position connectors that can be used with feed-thru, standard or shielded connectors for Cat 5e or Cat 6. It also has a replaceable cutting blade, and 568A and 568B wiring-scheme markings. It is 5¹/₂ in. long and weighs half a pound.
