There is no better time than the holiday season to celebrate the successes of 2018 as well as to look forward and plan for the new year to come. While our achievements have been many, there is still much work to be done to continue making NECA the sustainable, viable and imaginable organization that will lead us into the future.

One of NECA’s goals is to promote our trade as an attractive option for people of all backgrounds. What could be better than on-the-job training with the promise of a bright and lucrative career and no college debt? NECA is helping members build a dynamic workforce for today’s changing economic landscape. That is essential, if we want to meet our 1025 growth goal (increasing NECA contractors’ market share by 10 percentage points by 2025).

Growing electrical construction and NECA members across America brings excitement to everyone. Our industry is moving forward, and we must lead the way. As I travel around the country, I love seeing and hearing about all the things you’re doing to add value to your businesses while attracting and retaining talent. As we enter the new year, I encourage you to share your triumphs with NECA, so we can compile our industry’s best practices.

In 2019, let’s work together like never before. Let’s go, and let’s grow!
