As you get this issue of ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR, we are just a couple of weeks away from NECA 2021 Nashville, our first in-person convention and trade show since we all met in Las Vegas in 2019. It will be my final NECA Convention as president, and I cannot wait to see the entire electrical construction industry together again. Excitement has been through the roof, and, if you have not attended a NECA Convention before, there has never been a better time to see what this event has to offer.
Many of you may even be reading this column in Nashville while attending the NECA Convention! In that case, welcome. Within this issue, you will find a schedule of the convention activities, and more details on all the exciting things you will experience when you enter the show floor. This also includes education and all the other events that come with a full registration. Be sure to check out the Official NECA 2021 Nashville Show Guide—your complete resource for everything happening at the NECA Convention.
I want to congratulate the NECA national staff, chapters and everyone involved for helping to put together this event, and for continuing to push the association forward through the challenges of the past two years. I also want to thank our Premier Partners and event sponsors for being a critical part of making the NECA Convention the industry’s No. 1 event, year after year.
Finally, be assured that this meeting is being conducted with safety in mind. We will maintain consistent communication with the city of Nashville and our destination partners to solicit regular updates on changes to pandemic health and safety protocols. Also, be sure to take advantage of NECA 2021 Nashville’s hybrid options, which will make the entire event accessible to those who are not able to travel as well as those in the Music City.
See you all in Nashville! It’s going to be an event to remember.
