First Place Tie
Clamp it on

We keep a few of these inexpensive clamps on the truck all of the time. We clamp them on cables that need to be quickly identified. It is a really easy and inexpensive way to temporarily mark a cable or wire. It is a snap to place and quick to remove.

Make your mark
When laying out boxes or panels for conduit or cable entry, I always apply blue painter’s tape to the area I need to mark for later work or identification. After your pilot holes are drilled, be sure to remove the tape for a clean finish.

Oldie but goodie
Grab bag
Instead of stuffing my pockets and toolbelt every time I need to work in a small space, I keep a little bag filled with tools and parts I might need. I can hook the bag to a belt loop with a carabiner.
It makes it easier to do the crawl and speeds up the job.
