Some partnerships simply feel right.

For generations, Mike Holt has been one of the most recognizable and influential voices in electrical education, helping contractors, electricians, instructors and inspectors better understand the National Electrical Code and the principles that keep our industry safe and successful.

That is why I am especially pleased to welcome Mike back to NECA and, for the first time in more than 25 years, back to the pages of Electrical Contractor magazine.

On a personal level, I have had the opportunity to attend countless Mike Holt presentations throughout my career. Like so many others in our industry, I have benefited from his unique ability to take complex code requirements and explain them in a way that is practical, understandable and immediately applicable in the field. His passion for education has helped generations of electrical professionals better understand the National Electrical Code and, most important, create safer working environments for workers, customers and communities across the country.

As part of a new strategic partnership, Mike will work closely with NECA’s Technical and Regulatory Affairs, Education and Electrical Contractor magazine teams to deliver valuable resources and insights to our members. Together, we will provide recurring technical content, expanded educational opportunities, discounted continuing education resources and greater collaboration on codes and standards initiatives. Mike will also play an active role in future NECA educational programs, industry events and code-focused discussions that help prepare contractors for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

At NECA, we are committed to providing our members with the very best tools, training and expertise available. Few individuals have contributed more to electrical education than Mike Holt, and we are excited to bring his knowledge and perspective directly to our readers once again.

The electrical industry is evolving rapidly. New technologies, changing codes, workforce demand and growing infrastructure needs require all of us to stay informed and continuously improve our skills. Partnerships like this help ensure that NECA contractors remain at the forefront of professionalism, safety and technical excellence.

On behalf of NECA, welcome back, Mike. We are proud to work together to advance electrical education, strengthen our industry and help the next generation of electrical professionals succeed.

I know our readers will be as excited as I am to see your byline in Electrical Contractor once again.
