- Carl Smith, Ozark, Mo., was the grand-prize winner of four tickets to any 2007 IndyCar race and a $1,000 American Express gift card.
- Margaret Herrin, Signal Mountain, Tenn., was the first-place winner of two tickets to any 2007 IndyCar race and a $500 American Express gift card.
- Nancy Pipp, New Ipswich, N.H., was the second-place winner of $1,000 worth of Klein Tools products of her choice.
- Orville Miles, Harts, W.Va., was the third-place winner of $500 worth of Klein Tools products of his choice.
In addition, the contest randomly awarded weekly prizes of Klein Tools racing jackets and daily prizes of Klein Tools racing shirts.
“The third year of our ‘Race and Win’ contest drew 50 percent more participants than last year,” said Abby Ceppos, senior marketing manager, Klein Tools. “Klein Tools’ successful contest reflects its continued achievements with the Klein Tools-sponsored Andretti Green Racing team.”
Klein Tools began its motor sports association in 1994 to support the marketing efforts of the company and its distributorship in key markets. Since the beginning of that relationship, the association has grown, seeing a positive return on its -investments. EC
