Siemens Industry Inc. announced it would provide a three-year warranty included as standard on its lighting panel, power panel, busway and switchboard product lines as part of its new C3 Customer Confidence Certification program.
The C3 program is included with the purchase of a wide array of Siemens electrical distribution products; there are no fees or signups required. The three-year standard warranty from shipment covers all Siemens factory-assembled P1–P5 power panels, SB1–SB3 switchboards (including factory-installed Access power meters and TVSS), and Sentron busways that shipped after Oct. 1, 2009.
In addition, the C3 program offers many other elements designed to increase the total value of ownership, including the following:
• Layouts, specifications and technical application assistance from Siemens consulting account managers
• Customer-care kits that include commonly used parts and fasteners
• Product configuration support from the Siemens sales support center
• Siemens online customer service for order tracking and status
