Fire-Lite Alarms by Honeywell is being honored for its support of training programs provided by the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC). As the official training division of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), the NJATC has managed the development and delivery of a nationwide technical training program for electrical apprentices and journeymen for nearly 70 years.

The NJATC annually recognizes the contributions its principal training partners give to support the organization’s curriculum development and training projects. Fire-Lite supplied high-tech systems for hands-on training, along with its own training resources, to assist with course content for the NJATC’s fire alarm training series. Fire-Lite is also in the process of identifying fire alarm laboratories and other premium training locations that the NJATC can use to reduce costs while offering state-of-the-art equipment on-site.

“We’re very excited to have Fire-Lite on board as a national training partner. Fire-Lite is one of the industry’s leading fire and life safety systems providers and their partnership helps to ensure our 44,000 apprentices will receive the very best fire alarm training possible,” said Michael I. Callanan, NJATC executive director.
