It is an incredible honor to begin my service as president of the National Electrical Contractors Association. As I step into this role, I want to express my deep gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in me, and for the remarkable leaders, especially our previous president Kirk Davis, whose dedication and steady guidance have strengthened NECA and our entire industry over the past four years.
I begin this tenure with a deep sense of responsibility. Our industry is in the middle of a transformation shaped by new technologies, workforce growth, evolving energy systems and the increasing demand for innovation on every job site. NECA contractors have always been at the forefront of this progress, and I am committed to ensuring that this association continues to lead, support and elevate our collective future.
In the months ahead, my focus will be on several key priorities.
Strengthening our workforce pipeline: We will continue building a future-ready workforce by supporting apprenticeship programs, developing leadership pathways and ensuring our contractors have the skilled talent needed to meet growing opportunities.
Expanding NECA contractor resources and advocacy: Your success is our mission. We will continue delivering best-in-class education, safety programs, business resources and strong advocacy at every level of government to protect and propel the electrical construction industry.
Strengthening collaboration across the electrical ecosystem: Our partnerships with labor, manufacturers, distributors, industry coalitions and other associations are vital to shaping a resilient and prosperous future. I look forward to joining those conversations and developing relationships.
As I begin this journey, I am energized by the passion I see across our chapters, member companies and industry partners. NECA’s strength has always come from its people: the contractors who push boundaries and build the systems that power our nation as well as the NECA staff supporting member contractors nationwide.
I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months and hearing firsthand about your challenges, opportunities and ideas. Together, we will continue to build an association that reflects the excellence, integrity and innovation of the NECA community.
Thank you for the privilege of serving our great industry. I am ready to get to work!
