All Together Now

Happy new year, and welcome to 2021. Like you, I’m very happy to usher in a new year, which—as always—is full of promise and opportunity. While 2020 had its challenges, I am proud to say that we persevered as an industry and as an association. Let it serve as yet another example of the strength of electrical contractors and NECA.

In this new year, NECA will be busy embracing all of the association’s priorities and looking to engage our members on a number of important issues. We have a new congress and presidential administration, and our Government Affairs team is eager to introduce new legislators to the industry and share the immense value we bring to the American people. Our education programs expanded to meet new demand last year, and I look forward to even more opportunities in the year to come. No matter the year, the season or the state of the pandemic as vaccines begin to roll out, NECA will work together to help support our members, the electrical construction industry and the American economy as a whole.

If you are reading this, the success of the electrical construction industry also requires your participation. NECA’s strength lies not only in the expertise of our national and chapter staff, but in the engagement and interaction of our members. I hope you will make NECA a part of your plans for 2021. I was disappointed that we were not able to meet face-to-face for much of last year. I hope that, before long, we are able to gather again as an industry and help each other grow and prosper.

I believe that the future of our industry, and NECA, is very bright. If we all keep working and doing our part, I believe 2021 is going to be an incredible year.
