NECA's MEI Establishes New Online Course

A new online course from the National Electrical Contractors Association’s Management Education Institute (NECA-MEI) addresses some of the fundamental questions about what it takes to make it in electrical construction.

Contractor 101 is NECA’s ABCs of the electrical construction industry. It begins with an explanation of responsibilities on a project from the bottom up, covering the fundamentals for people new to electrical contracting and how contractor business and management operations are organized.

Helpful for a range of purposes, including training office staff, students researching job possibilities, and electrical workers exploring a move into management, Contractor 101 is an introductory program or refresher course.

Contractor 101 is available for $49 for NECA members and $65 for nonmembers. Individuals who complete this online course will gain 0.2 continuing education units (CEUs.)
