Lighting Controls Association Adds Course to Program

The Lighting Controls Association (LCA) announced the availability of EE202: Lighting & LEED-NC v.2.2, a new course added to its Education Express program.

Education Express provides in-depth education about lighting controls and controllable ballast technology, application, system design and commissioning, as well as meta-issues such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), energy codes and other trends.

The course, authored by lighting industry educator and journalist Craig DiLouie, provides guidance about maximizing LEED points. Consisting of nearly 100 pages of text and graphics broken into five learning modules, the course provides requirements and solutions for light pollution reduction, daylight and views, controllability of lighting systems and complying with/exceeding Standard 90.1-2004.
