AEMC Instruments’ 6681 cable locator detects buried telecommunications cables, electric power and other cables, and metal pipes during installations of CAT III or lower, at voltages of 300V or less. It can locate open circuits, shorts, track cables and locate fuses or circuit breakers. The system includes a transmitter, a receiver and accessories. The transmitter and receiver both have a large backlit LCD and large keys.
