Makita, an industrial power tools and accessories manufacturer, has partnered with Kicker Car Stereo to give away a one-of-a-kind item. The Makita Kick’n Tool Crib will feature a JOBOX Premium Field Office Box, a 2,000-watt Kicker stereo system, $3,500 in Makita 18V lithium-ion tools, a one-year supply of Monster Energy Drink and a 19-inch LCD display monitor. The five first-prize winners will receive an Ogio 9800 gear bag. The contest runs until Dec. 31, 2007.

“The Makita Kick’n Tool Crib is tool storage on steroids,” said Brent Withey, Makita brand manager. “The tool crib is big, loud and fully equipped.”

Simon Evans, an international custom automotive painting expert, airbrushed the design. He has worked on an array of high-profile projects, including a custom paint design on the CNN “Warrior One” Humvee.

“We worked with the ultimate sound company to build the ultimate tool crib,” Withey said.
