If you haven't heard, ElectricTV is a Web site that features video newscasts regarding the electrical industry. It is a joint production of NECA and IBEW, and it is currently in its sixth edition.

The sixth edition features a very informative segment about building information modeling (BIM) and how it is dramatically changing the view of building design, construction and operation.

"[BIM presents] a clearer overall picture of the building and allows stakeholders to make better informed decisions," said Marise Mikulis, senior director at FMI Corp.

The sixth edition also features some great material on the new "Team Build" approach and a spotlight on an educational partnership between Fluke Corp. and the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (NJATC).
