In Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, Lutron will host the Developing the Market for Commercial Lighting Control training class, a three-day event, with three different start dates: July 9, Aug. 6 and Sept. 5, 2007. It is a hands-on learning experience designed to give attendees a general understanding of dimming technology with a focus on commercial products. The “Why Dim” portion of each seminar now explores applications, details the benefits, and examines simple payback techniques. Ultimately, this seminar will build confidence levels and increase the value-added component of each sales call.

Also in Coopersburg, Lutron will host Developing the Market for Residential Lighting Control on the same dates. Inaddition, on Aug. 27, 2007, Lutron will host the class in Irvine, Calif. The training class is designed to give attendees a general understanding of dimming technology with a focus on residential products.

In Ashland, Va., Lutron will host Selling and Designing Daylight Control Systems, a two-day event, which starts on July 23, Aug. 20 and Sept. 17, 2007. This seminar lays the groundwork for a thorough understanding of Lutron’s shading solutions. Attendees will receive a solid background in the basics of lighting control, basic wiring and low-voltage solutions, the technology behind virtually silent shades, how different shade fabrics handle sunlight, and line voltage shading and controls.
