Intermatic Inc. will host a nationwide training and education tour designed to help electrical contractors, integrators and specifiers increase their knowledge of weatherproof, surge protection, pool and spa, professional lighting and energy control products.
Additionally, attendees will find ways to better use home automation products and learn how they can increase sales within the growing home controls market.
Intermatic will host the “Make the Connection” road show and training tour at 11 cities across the United States.
There is an attendance fee of $125, which covers a welcome reception and general session, 1 of 4 specialized training sessions and a trade show luncheon. Additionally, every attendee will receive a free Intermatic “Make the Connection” kit, which includes the following:
- A “Make the Connection” T-shirt
- A customized Intermatic 30 GB video iPod, preloaded with industry, product, installation and programming information
The iPod can later be used to download continuing education materials from Intermatic’s Web site. The company will continue to develop Webinars, animated DVDs and podcasts throughout the year to continue to inform customers on new products, techniques and business practices.
