The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Green Power Partnership recognized 17 winners in three categories at the annual Green Power Leadership Awards in Atlanta in September.

The winning organizations have made outstanding contributions in helping grow the nation’s voluntary green power market. The cumulative annual green power commitment to purchase totals more than 2.8 billion kilowatt-hours.

The Green Power Partners of the Year are Deutsche Bank AG, Intel Corp., Kohl’s Department Stores, and Mohawk Fine Papers Inc.

The EPA’s Green Power Partnership works with more than 1,100 partner organizations to voluntarily purchase green power to re-duce the environmental impacts of conventional electricity use. The EPA co-sponsors the Green Power Leadership Awards in conjunc-tion with the U.S. Department of Energy and the Center for Resource Solutions.
