Rated 3R, 4, 4X, 12 per UL 50 and IP66 per IEC 60529, they function in temperatures as low as –40°F/C but can be used in indoor applications as well as outdoors. They have multidirectional mounting feet, provide for a wide variety of mounting options, and are available in five standard sizes.


2 Rack > Hewlett Packard’s Intelligent series racks allow for workload placement optimization with servers that self-identify and inventory themselves. They send the rack identification number and precise U location to the servers installed in the racks and provide power and temperature data. The rack door is 81 percent open and increases airflow efficiency to cool servers. Cable management in the back provides for toolless operations and extra space for hot air to pass out of the rack. It is recommended for SMB, government and enterprise data centers.


3 Cabinet > Pentair Technical Products’ Schroff brand Varistar MIL 901D 19-in. cabinet is designed to withstand extreme seismic and mobile conditions and issuitable for use in rough environments, such as frigates, aircraft carriers and submarines. Four shock absorbers are attached to its welded base plate, and two more are fixed to the rear of the solid top cover for wall mounting. Wire rope shock absorbers or elastomer shock absorbers are available. Its frame and covers are double-galvanised and powder-coated to protect from corrosion and provide vibration-resistance. It features EMC protection (60 dB at 1 GHz, 40 dB at 3 GHz) and protection from dust and water to IP 55.


4 Enclosure > Hammond Manufacturing’s HN4 WM SS type 4X stainless-steel two-door wall-mount enclosure is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments in areas where wetness or corrosion may be a problem. It features smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes and a three-point padlocking door handle. Doors are supported with heavy gauge continuous hinges.


5 Enclosure > Great Lakes Case & Cabinets’ EN enhanced networking enclosure GL840ENT-3242MSS is an 84-in.-by-32-in.-by-42-in. enclosure with two pairs of tapped
No. 10-32 mounting rails with cable management “fingers.” It includes eight levelers, solid-top, mesh-front door, split-mesh rear door and solid sides. Rack spaces are 45 RMU, 19-in. It can hold 2,000 lbs. either on levelers or bolted to the floor.


6 Cabinet > Bud Industries’ wall-mount network cabinet is EIA 310D compliant for 19-in. rack-mount equipment. It is furnished completely assembled with a tempered-glass front door with a key lock and ventilation slots. The front door can be mounted hinged left or right. It features a removable gland plate in the top and bottom for easy cable installation and four mounting slots in the rear for wall mounting. Style A is supplied with one pair of fully adjustable panel mounting rails. Style B has two pairs of panel-mounting rails, one ventilated and vertically adjustable shelf, and two fans installed in the top. Other sizes and modifications are available.

The FBE modular platform includes the enclosure lid, an auxiliary and base equipment enclosure, a battery expansion enclosure and various mounting options.
