PITTSBURGH — Power management company Eaton  announced its goal to raise awareness of how industry professionals can protect themselves from counterfeit electrical products in 2015 as part of its “I Didn’t Know” educational campaign.

January 8, 2015 -- The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) today announced the launch of its Certified Electrical Safety Worker (CESW) certification program, which is based on the 2015 edition of NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace®. The program works to ensure that electricians have the knowledge, training and experience to perform their jobs at the highest, safest level possible.“NFPA’s CESW certification program is an important credential for documenting electricians’ advanced knowledge of electrical safety,” said Jim Pauley, NFPA president.
